   > Ahmed, Kahil

Theatrical by nature and a consummate joker, Kamal grew up in Astoria, Queens and evolved into the better half of the Jerky Boys.

   > Benigno, Joe

Calls to various WFAN talk shows from "Joe from Saddle River" were as enjoyable as the morning paper. After winning WFAN's Fan  Appreciation Day contest and a role as guest host, it became clear that Benigno was pure radio entertainment: intelligent, honest, vitriolic, and above all else, lots of fun.

Benigno went on to host the graveyard shift for WFAN, then moved to afternoons, joining Sid Rosenberg on the  "Joe B. and Sid" show-- until Sid went wild-- and now Joe's goin solo.

   > Doris From Rego Park

Doris Bauer, better known as “Doris From Rego Park,” entertained the tri-state radio waves for years. As a caller of WFAN sports talk radio, Doris comforted all with her encyclopedic knowledge and passion for sports. In Novemeber of 2003 Doris died from cancer complicated by the elephantitis she bravely battled for years. Doris is greatly missed.

   > James, Kevin

He's the King of Queens!

   > Merry, Liz

Liz Merry, the provocative half of the Northern California comedy troupe Merry and Standish, has been a Mets fan her entire life. Merry and Standish combine political satire, parody songs, stand-up, topical sketches, costumes and props, sound effects, video bits, guest performers, local spoofery, and whatever else seems funny at the time. (Dear Merry: Since the Mets inglorious collapse, nothing seems funny to us anymore. Not even Chad Pennington. Do you know of any 'magical' cures?)

   > O'Reilly, Bill

Bill O'Reilly is: "an ego-driven, biased     individual who spreads fear, hate and misunderstanding. His views are firmly
anchored to the political right. He works tirelessly to enrage Americans and pit them against anything he considers 'liberal'
or, worse yet, 'secular'. Mr. O'Reilly uses highly manipulative forms of presentation, phrasing and, yes, 'spin'."

   > Romano, Ray

There's an autographed picture of him and the entire cast of Everybody Loves Raymond hanging in the bagel store that I go to on Myrtle Ave!

Also, I believe Ray Romano's favorite film of all time is Soylent Green.

   > Rose, Howie

Queens represent! Howie is an alumni of both Cardozo High School and Queens College.

Howie's the play-by-play guy for the New York Islanders on MSG and the New York Mets on WFAN. Incidently, Howie can instantly recite upon request the mother's madien name of any player ever to have worn a New York Met uniform.

   > Seinfeld, Jerry

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Massepequa, Long Island, Seinfeld discovered stand-up comedy in productions as a student at Queens College. He graduated in 1976 and immediatley went to amateur night try-out at New York's Catch a Rising Star. Four years later he got a role on the TV series "Benson" playing Frankie.

He's hasnt been heard from since.

   > Somers, Steve

Mix up a pinch of Plato, a sprinkle of Shakesphere, a dash of Sartre, a wealth of sports knowledge-- shake it thoroughly with a surplus of schmooze-- and voila: Steve Somers. On both both parchment and tape, Somer's opening monologues belong in the MoMA.

Schmoozie is an under appreciated radio voice for WFAN and prefers to broadcast after sundown.

   > Stewart, Jon

Using his comic verve as a weapon, Stewart strives to conquer global warfare: "I see myself as a driving force for global peace. Since we ["The Daily Show"] have been on CNNI [CNN International], the border between India and Pakistan has been stood down from red alert. Coincidence? We're bringing healing to the international community."
