BADMETS > FAMOUS FANS > Sid Rosenberg

After being treated like an animal by WFAN, Sid went to rehab in March to battle his drug, alcohol, and gambling demons. Post detox, Sid was asked if his addictions are under control. Sid responded truthfully: "Anybody who says that is not being realistic. ... I would hope so ... I'm taking the right steps. I've learned there are certain people and places and things I can't surround myself with."

Distraught, Sid returned to his second home, Miami, and after co-hosting w/ x-Dolphin O.J. McDuffie on AM 790 in Miami, Sid's going solo.

Sid Rosenberg Bio:
A true city boy, Rosenberg graduated from Baruch, CUNY.  Upon graduating, his remarkably tan-friendly skin demanded he relocate to Florida. There, he garnered radio experience and praise, winning the Best Radio Personality in both the 2000 Best of Broward and Palm Beach poll.

Sid returned to New York and was the sports anchor for Imus in the Morning, until cocaine pressured his foax pas: Sid on Kylie Minogue receiving chemotherapy, "She wont look so pretty when she's bald with one titty." He kept his position as co-host of  "Joe B. and Sid" from 10- 1 pm on WFAN-- until Sid MC'd a FHM show in Atlantic City-- and temptation-- crack cocaine, gambling, women-- once again tripped him up.

Previous to these blunders, Sid mentioned that he felt that Venus and Serena Williams were better suited for National Geographic than Playboy. He also stated that the U.S. Women's Soccer team were "a bunch of juiced up dykes."  He was also slapped on the wrist by the law for stealing DirectTV.  He's New York, so badmets.com loves him.

Sid : "I have not had this much sobriety and serenity     through a nine-month period since I was 13 years old."
